Through my undergrad degree, I worked at a restaurant and went on to work in the emergency department and family medicine practices. I eventually moved to clinical research where I’ve been for the past 8 years–protecting patient rights and maintaining ethical and regulatory standards. All this to say, I know what it means to serve.

I’m well read on the issues with our healthcare system/Medicaid and, after running for school board last year, have a deep understanding of the importance of fully funding education/special ed and how these issues impact Kansans at a local level and in their pocketbook.
